Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and refund information for SolarSnap Pro licences.

1. Scope

This policy applies to SolarSnap Pro licences purchased through the SolarSnap official website. The Free edition involves no payment and therefore no refunds.

2. Cancellation and renewal

  • SolarSnap Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You pay once and it remains valid.
  • There is no automatic renewal and no recurring charge, and therefore nothing to "cancel". You do not need to take any action to stop paying, and no second billing period will occur.
  • If we introduce subscription products in the future, we will provide a clear cancellation route and state the billing cycle before you subscribe.

3. Refund window

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, without needing to give a reason.
After 14 days, we will still consider refund requests where the product genuinely does not work and the problem remained unresolved after we tried to help.

4. Conditions

  • We need the email address used at purchase, or the order number, so that we can locate the transaction;
  • Only one refund is issued per transaction;
  • Once a refund is issued, the corresponding licence key is deactivated and activated devices revert to the Free feature set;
  • Please do not publicly distribute the licence key (for example, posting it to a forum or code repository) before requesting a refund.

5. How to request a refund

Please email 434260666@qq.com with the following information:
  • the order number, or the email address used at purchase;
  • the date of purchase;
  • for fault-based refunds, a description of the problem and the troubleshooting we have already carried out together.
We normally reply within 3 business days.

6. Who processes the refund

Transactions on this site are processed by Dodo Payments acting as the Merchant of Record. Refunds are therefore executed by Dodo Payments, which also reverses the tax it collected on the corresponding amount.
The refund is returned to your original payment method. How long it takes to appear depends on the payment channel and your card issuer, typically 5 to 10 business days. If it has not arrived after that, contact us and we will help trace it.

7. Situations where refunds do not apply

  • the licence key has been publicly distributed or clearly abused (for example, activation attempts across a large number of devices);
  • a refund has already been issued for the same transaction;
  • the product works as described but does not match your subjective expectations (in this case please contact us before requesting a refund — we would rather help you solve the problem).
This section does not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region, nor does it affect versions obtained through the Microsoft Store, which are covered by Microsoft’s own refund policy.

8. Other channels

  • The SolarSnap app distributed through the Microsoft Store is free; Pro purchases within it are still made through this site and are therefore covered by this policy.
  • If you are unsure whether this site may sell a product to you, or which consumer protection rules apply, please contact us before paying.
